We are the largest Haunted Motel on the East Coast! Just minutes from I-95 and both casinos in Southeastern CT! Our haunt is also located directly on the shores of Misquamicut Beach which makes us unique! We guarantee once you come see us, youll be dying for more! ---- During the 1938 hurricane 2 ships were stranded off the coast of Misquamicut. Captain Bates commanded one of the vessels and his soul is rumored to have made it to shore and took up residency at the Sandy Shore Motel, now known as “Bates Haunted Motel.” Partially devoured corpses landed on the shore of where the Bates Haunted Motel is located today.
